Private 30 minute transportation to the town of Santa Maria del Tule. Spend the morning at the TEXERE textile studio learning how to weave with Carizzo river reeds, guided by local artisan instructors. Each guest will have the opportunity to weave a simple basket to take home.
A local host/translator from the Thread Caravan team will attend to support with translation
Coffee, tea, water and light lunch will be provided at the TEXERE studio.
Wrap up the experience with a visit to the iconic Tule tree, the tree with the widest circumference in the world!
Return to Oaxaca City, arriving at 3pm.
Pick up and drop off at Grand Fiesta Americana Hotel in Oaxaca City Center.
